   Not replace, this country would remain a death-spiral duopoly, and we would remain at the mercy of whoever is in charge of the party in control. AgentOrange used to be a Democrat, keep that in mind, blue could have put his ass in office too. Right now we essentially have a 1 party government, and the duopoly is how we bloody got here. Look at all the other duopolies and single party governments on the planet. You wouldn’t want to live in ANY of them. In college I looked at the number of parties in each country worldwide. We are the exception. The smallest country (population) in the EU is Malta, 50k in population with 4 parties. Belgium and a couple of others have the most at 14. What the hell have we been doing for 90 years? Allowing the duopoly to legislate our democracy into this death spiral. If we had dozens of parties nationwide, AgentOrange never would have gotten into office the first time because he would have needed to convince multiple parties to support him. He would also not have a majority in Congress. Liberals exist to keep civic machinations moving forward, and keep Conservatives from allowing it to move too slowly, or grind to a halt. Conservatives exist to keep Liberals from allowing the government to move to quickly, or launch itself into a legislative multitasking paralysis, trying to fix everything at once and succeeding at nothing. Moderates just keep Liberals and Conservatives humble, they need moderate votes to succeed. As it is, there is no liberal party in the US, most of the reps in DC that claim to be were liberals in the 50s and 60s which are right wing Conservatives at best now. My grannie told me once that politicians were like trash, if you didn’t take them out often enough they will start to stink. This is why the HoR is a cesspit, the Senate a landfill and the Whitehovel and Ovalouthouse are a toxic waste dumpsite. Neither party has taken out the trash in 90 years, the sewer rats just keep dying in thier seats. The ONLY people who benefit from the lack of term limits, age limits and lifetime service limits etc, and with no health deterioration exit requirements are politicians. They only spin it as “discrimination, ageism”, or whatever they want to label it as, so they can keep thier jobs. If Feinstein and Granger (Texas) aren’t elder abuse, I don’t know what is. My uncle had chicken pox as a child, and shingles twice as an adult. It sucks. Blue and CA had NO business dragging Feinstein back to DC after that. None. If the death-spiral duopoly did not exist, we wouldn’t “need” (as the blue sheep claim) her, or Polosi or any other coffin-ready candidate. Abraham Lincoln was a spoiler, imagine what would be happening if there were just a handful of spoilers in Congress right now. AgentOrange wouldn’t have a majority at all. I have been nonpartisan since age 18, that will never change. Anyone who supports the duopoly is equally culpable for the hell-hole our country has become over the past 90 years.

   As nice as it would be for the CA-CSP to go national, we haven’t even gone *Californian*. I can’t even pitch the CSP to interested persons, because I don’t know what the Party stands for in concrete terms. There’s no sense in getting over our skis on this.
