I agree that we need to support women who choose to continue their pregnancies. We also must support a woman’s right to exercise autonomy over her own body when she chooses to continue or discontinue her pregnancy. This party tries to sound progressive and caring in their statement on abortion however it has failed. Until this party unequivocally acknowledges that control over a woman’s body belongs solely to her, I will decline to support it. Abortion is a matter of autonomy not a religious one except for how a person applies their religious beliefs to their own actions.
