I’m perfectly amenable to the idea that corporations have fewer rights as “persons” than individuals do.
It is clear to me that Citizens United is one of the tools used to weaken the rule of law and to undermine popular sovereignty , to obtain corrupting influence over elected officials, and to sow distrust in politics.
I am perfectly amenable to corporations having fewer rights than natural persons; it ought to be to be so.
