Multimember districts is the best reform I’m aware of to instantly end the two party duopoly. No third party or nonpartisan can win 50% of just about any district, but many can win 17% of a 5-seat district. We’d have a multiparty + nonpartisans democracy after 1 election!!!
And RCV is a natural fit to rank the candidates so people don’t have to guess about who’s competitive to avoid the spoiler effect (and save lots of money on runoff elections!).
