RCV would allow us to have a larger pool of people to vote for and the ability to express our preference in order from highest to lowest. It would also advocate for the candidates to work with their constituents to learn what the majority of them want in terms of policies to pursue.

Multimember districts, especially if conjoined with RCV, would allow a better representation of the varied ideologies in a district, thereby reducing the chances of the minority perspective from being stamped out by the majority.

The combination would address our founding father’s intentions of avoiding the Tyranny of Majority or Minority.
