It’s unfortunate but necessary for the Dems in CA to counter the extreme GOP TX gerrymander with pro Dem gerrymander, otherwise corrupt GOP will maintain control of house. Now other GOP red states are doing extreme gerrymandering so other blue Dem states will need to counter. Hopefully the Dems will win control of the house and the Senate in 2026, and both houses can legislate out extreme gerrymandering. In the meantime, if the Forward party can get more moderate candidates and be a viable third-party, this will help the overall situation
