I support our non-partisan commission but will back Newsom plan here regretfully . I take some comfort in the wording of the proposed Amendment and the SnapBack in 2030

Trump is building a despotic government and is not playing by any rules and no Republicans are standing against that, indeed are abetting it. If some dictator-Trump supporters get un-horsed in CA that would be ok. They can try again in 2030…when there is a 2030 election.
