I supported the California Redistricting Commission and it’s been a success. But the GOP is now playing dirty and doing a between-census extreme offensive gerrymandering of an already-gerrymandered Texas map to try to claim five more House seats in the midterms. When the GOP fights dirty and the Democrats don’t fight back, the GOP wins and democracy loses. We are facing an in-progress fascist takeover of the United States. We must fight while we can. Let’s pursue an anti-gerrymandering amendment to the U.S. Constitution to stop this nonsense nationwide. In the meantime, we must fight back against the fascist takeover rather than allowing it to proceed unopposed. What would you have done in Germany in 1933? Do that now.
